Highs:
1. Jeff - celebrating 15 years of marriage
2. Ang - getting off work on time and going home to my family
3. Caleb - "being with mom"
4. Hayden - walking this AM
Lows:
1. Jeff - boys fighting
2. Ang - not being with my family today
3. Caleb - fighting with my brother
4. Hayden - breaking up with his girlfriend on the phone today.
So my confession of the day that I am not really proud to admit...I feel bad for the little girl Hayden "broke up" with on the phone. Really...why did I care, he met her at church camp, I never even met her. I guess the little girl in me remembered boys not liking me anymore and "breaking" up with me. I just want my boys to be considerate and kind and think of their feelings. (Wow...this new stage of growing up may be harder on me than 3am feedings.)
FAMWICH
put the 4 of us together and we make a great sandwich,or famwich as we like to call it, check us out for our nightly dose of highs and lows...we like to have more highs than lows.

LOWS:

High and Low
Today's highs and lows are as follows:
Hayden: High "taking a nap"
Low "having a fever"
Mommy: High "good dinner day at church"
Low "Hayden being sick and the end of the wkd came to fast"
Caleb: High "playing football after church"
Low "Dad being mean to me"
Jeff: High "being with my family"
Low "Hayden being sick"
So as you can see the prediction yesterday came true halfway, only one of the 2 boys woke up being sick. I absolutely love high and low time of the day. We watched a movie several years ago with Bruce Willis and I can't remember the actresses name...oh yeah Michelle Pfeifer. They were a married couple with children and did this at dinner it was a great idea and has become a Graves family staple since. One of the funniest was when Hayden had been mad at me he said, my high was when you left today mom and my low was when you came home. Well honestly I didn't like that but it was how he felt and gave me an opening to go back in and get my little man back out and talk to me. One of my goals as a mom is to make sure my boys never feel unloved or question my love for them but at the same time teach them to be kind, loving, honest, and respectable men that will be pleasing to God. God has a way of reminding me that even though I think they are mine they are his first.

Yes please I wanna go back....! What is my high and low for today? This is the nightly question in our home. I have lots of highs for today:
1. Seeing my great niece Morgan and her Momma Whitney!2. Meeting my sisters new cat Moonpie (great name you could almost call her Shelby, our old cat growing up)!
3. Eating lunch with 2 of my favorite boys at Oriental Inn in Marshfield, yummy hot and spicy!
4. Getting started on school supply shopping. 1 lunch box and 1 tote bag down.
5. Seeing the bottom of my laundry basket!
6. Started my recycle binds today!
7. Watching Grease with my Mr. C!
8. Catching up on my Pioneer Woman blog reading!
9. Getting to eat my "crack dip" thanks for the name uncle Ben.
10. Having time to blog while Jeff goes with his sis to get his nephew from the airport in St. Louis, he was so excited.
And my lows....
1. the boys both think they are getting sick...ugh
Yesterday marked a year since we lost Grandma Letha. Amazing how time is flying by. I don't like it. I want so much to freeze time however I am realistic so will enjoy the ride!
